About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by.

I created this site especially for people who are just getting started with Android TV boxes. There are a lot of different streaming options out there, and I’ve used most of them.

But I haven’t found anything that I loved as much as Android boxes.

To me, they’re the best way to get all the content you want, no matter where its made. You can access all of your movies and all of your music without worrying about whether the app you need works on that platform.

They’ll all work, unless it’s Apple, but we don’t talk about them.

To me, that’s just a really cool idea.

So let me let you in on a little secret. This isn’t the first website I created to cover Android TV boxes.

Way back in 2013, I created a site called AndroidPCReview.com. Between the time I started it and when I sold it in mid-2018, over eight million people came to that website to read my articles.

That’s the equivalent of everyone in New York City coming to my website.

Chances are you’ve seen at least one of the articles on there, and if so….thank you. It still makes me happy that

So you’re probably asking yourself why I don’t have that website anymore if it was so successful. Well, that’s actually a really simple answer.

In mid-2018,  my wife and I were looking to buy our first house together and it seemed like the perfect reason to sell. As much as it pained me to give up something I’d spent years building from the ground up, I wouldn’t be sitting where I am If I’d kept it.

Even after I sold the site, I kept in touch with the friends I’d made and I never stopped following the industry.

Maybe deep down I knew that someday I’d be back.

But I want to do things a bit different this time around. AndroidPCReview.com was focused on product reviews and it felt like that was getting a little old. Every week there was a new TV box to review, sometimes more than one.

I know…first world problems, right?

But what I really loved was creating really detailed tutorials, like my five-thousand word article teaching people how to use Kodi. I loved answering questions from readers. There are so many times when those questions pointed me in a direction and eventually gave birth to another epic tutorial.

So that’s what this site is going to focus on. More tutorials. More guides. More “how-to” articles.

Sure you’ll find the odd product review here and that’s okay. But it’s got to be a product that really wows me. I’m going to be choosy, so when I recommend something, you can trust that it’s really something I love.

So if you’re like me and you want to be able to watch whatever content you want, no matter where in the world it was made, then this site is for you.

Let’s get started!
